Waith, a parish in Lincolnshire; 1 mile from Holton-le-Clay station on the G.N.R., and 6 miles S by E of Great Grimsby. Post town, Grimsby. Acreage, 751; population, 55. The manor belongs to the Haigh family. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Lincoln; gross value, £90. The church was rebuilt in 1869, and is a small building in the Early English style.
