Dogdyke, Lincolnshire
Historical Description
Dogdyke, a township partly in Billinghay parish and partly in Swineshead parish, Lincolnshire, on the Boston and Lincoln branch of the G.N.R., on which it has a station 1½ mile S from Tattershall. It was formerly marshy, but is now well drained, and has a post office under Lincoln; money order and telegraph office, Coningsby. Acreage, 813; population, 192.
