Mere Brow, a village in Tarleton parish, Lancashire, 10½ miles SW of Preston, and 3½ from Bufford station on the L. & Y.R. Post town, Preston; money order office, Croston; telegraph office, Hesketh Bank. It has a Primitive Methodist chapel and a chapel of ease.
