Ingol, a hamlet in Ashton-on-Ribble ecclesiastical parish, Preston parish, Lancashire, 2 miles N of Preston. Post town and money order and telegraph office, Preston. Ingol Lodge is a chief residence. It is part of the township of Lea, Ashton, Ingol, and Cottam. See LEA.
