Booths, Higher, a township in the ecclesiastical parish of Goodshaw, Lancashire, 2 miles from Whalley station on the L. & Y.R., and 5 SSW of Burnley. Acreage, 4412; population, 6765. The inhabitants are chiefly employed in cotton factories and in collieries.
