Cark, Lancashire

Cark, a village on the west coast of Morecambe Bay, in Lancashire, 2 miles SW by S of Cartmel, with a station on the Furness railway. There is a post, money order, and telegraph office of the name of Cark-in-Cartmel under Carnforth.
