Tupsley, a township and an ecclesiastical parish in Hampton Bishop parish, Herefordshire, 1 mile ENE of Hereford, and partly within that city. Acreage of the township, 812; population, 1121; of the ecclesiastical parish, which includes the parish of the Vineyard, formerly extra-parochial, 1105. The ecclesiastical parish was constituted in 1866. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Hereford; net value, £230 with residence. Patron, the Bishop of Hereford. The church was built in 1866, and is in the Early English style.
