Historical Description
Staunton-on-Arrow, a parish in Herefordshire, 2 miles WNW of Pembridge station on the G.W.R., 6 E of Kington, and 10 W of Leominster. It has a post and telegraph office (R.S.O.); money order office, Pembridge. Acreage, 2968; population, 286. Staunton Park and Staunton Court are the chief residences. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Hereford; net value, £283 with residence. The church was rebuilt in 1854.
