The Yeo, Dorset

Historical Description

Yeo, The, a river of Dorsetshire and Somerset, rising at Seven Sisters Springs, near Milborne Port, running about 8½ miles west-by-southward past Sherborne to the vicinity of Yeovil, and going thence about 15 northward and westward, past Madford and Ilchester, to the Parret at Langport.
