Bubb Down, Dorset

Historical Description

Bubb-Down, a wooded eminence in Dorsetshire, adjacent to the Wyemouth and Yeovil railway, 2 miles N by E of Evershot. It forms a conspicuous landmark, and commands a very extensive and brilliant view.
