Historical Description
Knackersknowke or Crownhill, a village and a chapelry in St Budeaux and Egg Buckland parishes, Devonshire. The village stands 3 miles NNE of Plymouth, and has a post office, designated Crownhill (R.S.O.) The chapelry has no defined limits, and the living of it is a perpetual curacy, annexed to the perpetual curacy of St Budeaux, in the diocese of Exeter.
