Goldrill Crag, Cumberland

Historical Description

Goldrill Crag, a precipice in Seathwaithe, Cumberland, overhanging the river Duddon 2 miles above Newfield. A vast fragment of it once fell with so great a noise as to alarm the inhabitants over several miles of the surrounding country.
