Boscawen, Cornwall

Historical Description

Boscawen, a manor in St Buryan parish, Cornwall. It has belonged since the time of King John to the Boscawens, who became Viscounts Falmouth in 1720, and gives them the title of Baron. A famous Druidical circle of sixteen stones occurs on the farm of Boscawen-Un.
